Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

RPSA surveyors offer a high quality and efficient service to provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for residential properties being marketed for sale or rent.

RPSA is pleased to offer consumers the ability to order an EPC through its panel and will ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the process.

RPSA will arrange for the EPC to be undertaken at a time convenient to you by a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) based in your area. All RPSA panel assessors sign up to the attached standards of service.





The following service standards will be followed by RPSA Surveyors when handling EPCs that have been introduced through the RPSA panel:.

  • Instructions will be accepted within 24 hours.
  • If the appointment to conduct the EPC is made at the time of first contact the appointment date will be loaded on to the tracking system.
  • If the appointment has not been made at the first point of contact, daily updates will be lodged on the tracking system until the appointment has been made which is then lodged on the tracking system.
  • Once the EPC has been undertaken it will be lodged on the system and a copy provided to the client within 48 hours (based on a 5 day working week).
  • The surveyor will call the consumer within 48 hours of lodging the EPC by way of a courtesy and customer care call. (Again based on a 5 day working week).
